Who we are

Covariance Labs is a product of Squircle OÜ. These terms are between you and Squircle OÜ, which operates the service and issues invoices and receipts. In these terms, “we” means Squircle OÜ.

The service

Covariance Labs is software for planning experiments and analyzing their results. It is provided as is, while it is still being developed, and features may change.

Your responsibility for decisions

The designs, statistics and suggested optimum are aids to your own judgment. Results depend on your data and on assumptions the analysis makes (see the Methods page). Verify important conclusions, in particular any predicted optimum, with real experiments and appropriate expertise before acting, and do not rely on the service alone for safety-critical, medical or regulated decisions.

Your data

You keep ownership of the experiments and data you enter. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. See the Privacy page.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other people's data, or use automated means to overload it. Rate limits apply to the AI step.

Accounts and plans

Pro is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel; you can cancel or switch between monthly and yearly at any time from your account, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are taken and invoiced by Squircle OÜ and may appear on your statement under that name or as Covariance Labs. We do not see or store your card details.

If a payment fails, your Pro access continues for a short grace period while the payment is retried. If your plan ends, nothing is deleted: your experiments stay readable and exportable, and you can create new ones again once you are back under the Free limits.

Cancellation and refunds

• Cancel any time from your account (Manage billing). The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
• Payments are non-refundable, and we do not give partial refunds for unused time, with these exceptions: where the law gives you a right to a refund (see below), and where we charged you in error, for example twice for the same period. We correct those.
• What you agree to at checkout. Before you pay, you are asked to confirm that you accept these Terms and the Privacy policy, that you want Covariance Labs Pro to start immediately, and that payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. We keep a record of when you accepted and which version of these Terms applied.
• How to ask. Email squircleai@gmail.com with the address of your account and what happened. Refunds that are owed go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK. You may have a legal right to withdraw from this purchase within 14 days. By asking for Pro to start immediately you accept that you may lose that right once the service has been fully provided, and that if you withdraw after using the service you may have to pay a proportionate amount for what you used. Nothing in this section limits rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
